Phil Ladisa owner of SoundMotion Films a video production company in Minneapolis, MN was looking for a full site redesign to reflect his expanding business and attract additional Corporate clients. We met to discuss the types of clients he would like to get and came up with a design that would showcase his amazing work with the University of Minnesota and others.
Phil’s existing site was built using the SquareSpace platform and after researching the capabilities of his current template I was able to determine the new redesign could be created using it. I researched the industry leaders in the space and created a keyword list to attract the new target audience. I then wrote keyword based copy and restructured the site for effective SEO, increasing text to html ratio, adding headings, alt tags to all images, page titles and meta descriptions, a sitemap, robots.txt, and image compression.
In addition to the website changes I also updated his Google Analytics and added the domains to Google Webmaster tools for easy indexing and technical monitoring.
